I found the picture of Dave at Gordie Howe's Hockeyland...
How cool is THAT picture? Where in SCS was Hockeyland anyways? I never played there, and I can't seem to find where it is? (or was). Does anybody know?

Maybe with enough people looking we can help you find it.

Tink;
Thanks, but I'm trying to figure out exactly where IN St. Clair Shores the rink was...
It might be gone, it might have been turned into something else, but I don't know where in the city it was.

Would it help if you searched for it on google or some other search engine? You can always try looking on topics about Michigan or more specific the Detroit area...
I hope this helps... ;)

Google could be a good way to start. Not sure where else to tell you to look.

I've searched google, and a few other places too. All the hits mention the city, but no address or location within the city. My next step is a trip to the St. Clair Shores Public Library (which is only a couple of blocks down the street from my house).
Thanks all!

If you are still wondering about the location of Gordie Howe Hockeyland I can fill you in. It was located on Harper just south of 14 mile road. It sits adjacent to Home Plate sports at the Kyte Monroe baseball complex. It was converted to a factory and I believe it is no longer used in that capacity either. If anyone has any photos of the building from when it was Hockeyland I would appreciate seeing them or having them sent to me.
Thanks
