Signature file help?

I've created a signature file and picture twice now, when I post something (so far just in my own message area to get the feel of this site) I get no option of using my sig. file. Then when I go back to "edit signature" to see if I missed clicking on a permission, the whole thing's blank... What am I doing wrong? Or is it the fact that I'm using the Opera browser at this time (Netscape, firefox, Safari and IE are giving me problems at the moment do to some conflict issues with a work program...)

Ok, nevermind the above question... apparently it wasn't working cuz it's only meant for forum stuff....
