I am a married woman in Upstate NY---(wishing Dave would come to Turning Stone Casino someday!!)
My 4 kids are grown--they used to watch FH on TGIF....I didnt start watching the reruns until the 90s...(as I grew more 'G-rated' in my 'old age'...:D ) I also have 7 grandchildren, and have instilled FH values on the ones I can easily influence..lol The way things worked out, I was a grandma at 40...not exactly what I thought was written in the stars for me... I have had that first grandson with me always, and took in the next oldest almost a year ago..
I raised my kids alone, and am extremely proud of them all...
My interests are wide & varied, although my obvious attachment to the FH gang is what brought me here...
I worked at Turning Stone myself until, a few years ago, I decided to be a full time Gram...
I admire Dave, and everything he does to entertain us all...Thank you, Dave, for your dedication to being a clean guy...It is appreciated by many...

Dave is the man! I grew up to be more like Uncle Jesse (since we're on the subject of Full House lol), and so Dave really reminds me of a lot of friends of mine. Maybe one day Dave and I could get together sometime and try to write some radio jingles? HAHAHAHA! But seriously, Dave is the man. And I think he should resurrect the Jackalope. BRING BACK THE CLASS, DAVE! ;P Honestly, though, a lot of comedy these days relies on foul language... it's the world we live in... and I think it's because a lot of people really aren't funny... CHEERS!

I'm an 18 year old girl from Germany and I grew up watching Full House. I have to admit, I always liked Uncle Jesse more than Joey but Dave is just a wonderful comedian, I admire him for his joking and ingenious imitations and I definitely appreciate his work for making us laugh :) Keep it up!

I am 27 from Toronto, Canada. I grew up watching full house. It was on the same time everyday on a channel I can't remember. It was one of my fav shows and I believe it still runs re-runs on tv on a channel so I can still watch it. :)

I recently moved to Maine from Minnesota, don't miss Minnesota what so ever. I grew up watching full house (I am 32). I don't have kids myself but me and the dog still catch the ole' Full House re-runs on T.V. :D
I saw Dave about a year or so ago performing in Moorhead, MN and loved his show.

Iīm 21, I live in South of Brazil where itīs actually pretty cold during winter and we donīt like carnival very much. Iīm a music fan, I love music, everywhere, all the time. i love rock and roll and heavy metal but sometimes I like to listen to some pop or other kinds of music too.
I started to watch full house when i was about 12 years old, and I still watch sometimes, but for some reason, itīs only on cable tv and at 5am, so...itīs kindda complicated since Iīm sleeping and all....
iīm single, i donīt have kids, I have a cat instead. Love him so much!
And Iīm a teacher... I guess thatīs it ;)
Nice to meet you guys!
P.s: Oh yeah, i forgot this: Iīm a forum freak :D

My name is Susan. I am a married, stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of two girls here in North East Florida. I remember when I had my first baby, and I would sit up for hours rocking her and feeding her, and I would watch Full House reruns. :)
Dave, I would like to say that I appreciate that you choose to do clean comedy. I look forward to when you are able to come here to Jacksonville. (THE COMEDY ZONE!!) I will be bringing my girls with me to see your show!! :D
hugs... Susan

My girls are ages 15 and 8. No, it's not tough. The world is our classroom!! :D Honestly, I think public school was much tougher!! Actually it's the best thing we ever did... my only regret is not homeschooling them sooner!!

I guess it all started Oct.3,1987, I'd been drinking and was having a hard time staying awake.I stared blankly out my cracked kitchen window and wondered: " If there's no hope, why even hope. And if there no hope can there really BE good T.V. shows because isn't that what the producers want you to think??!!ISN'T IT???!!!" I calmed down ( passed out ) and when I woke up the Executive Producer Up in the Sky (E.P.U.S.) gave me my answer, on my 19" Sony was "Full House". After that everything has been a blur.:mad::D:(

Greetings fellow fans and of course his Funniness! I'm new to the site but have been a fan on the myspace and facebook pages for awhile. I'm 26 and from the "Greater Hartford" area of CT. I've watched Dave ever since he was on a (developing network at the time) Nickelodeon. The show he was on was called "Out of Control" and it was just that. Funny...people frequently say the same about me. I love to make others laugh and frequently get "spoken with" at work for being too much of a distraction. I work in customer service which isn't really my dream job, but it's what I ended up with at least for now...need to pay my rent and all that. I went to UConn for a degree in French. I still love to watch Full House and love the spirit of all the actors on the show. I also love Dave's comedy and his impressions (which I also do quite often..not reall the same ones though lol). I've traveled all over and still would love to see more places. I've been to: Canada, Mexico, France (and Monaco), Italy, Spain, and even Egypt. Hmm I think that's all. Hope to have lots of fun on this site. Thanks for your welcoming messages on my "test thread" haha. See ya!! ~ Jennica

I test the compaction, compressive strength, plasticity, etc. of dirt to keep houses, roads, and chemical plants from crumbling and sinking into the ground. I am starting a new job that is getting lots of their work from the levees destroyed by Katina.

---I did the homeschooling thing for one semester in high school. My only setback was that the "tutors" the town provided were less than up to par. So...we ended up having to find a few teachers on our own. Personally my best experiences were in private school but I'm very interested and am an advocate of home schooling. I had an extremely "less than happy" time in public school. I liked the homeschooling but felt a little bit of cabin fever! My best to your lovely family. :)

That IS a cool job. Another fascinating thing I learned is that there are people who study ice and can learn so much from it's composition etc. It has to do with the layers or something. Yeah I don't have any children and have always been a "big kid" (even though I'm actualyl really short) lol. It's weird but I love horror movies and kid's stuff and please do not read into that lol seriously it is what it is. I like other movies too so don't worry. I have lots of cool toys and kids movies and many cartoons. I always related to "Joey"/Dave quite a bit because I'm always doing impressions and sound like a cartoon even when I don't mean to. Im CONSTANTLY being told at work to quiet down because everybody is laughing..which is great but that kind of thing isn't welcomed in a call center for elevator trouble *sigh*. But...it's fun to make everybody around me happy and laughing even if others take issue with it. Why is "funny" always considered unprofessional and immature?? Ok on tangent...but really people "cut it out"!

Hi cbeyer and welcome to the forum!
You can upload your own pic by going to your "user CP" (first link on the menu on top of your screen) and then go to "edit avatar" on the left menu. You can then choose to upload a pic directly from your pc or from another website.

I just realized that the Myspace link I have at the bottom of all my posts is not the one I meant to add. I just fixed it, so it's 'right' now . Not that it's terribly exciting or anything, LOL, but I feel like a major dork that I didn't have the right one listed. So if anyone is totally bored and wants to look, LOL, it's correct now.

Dolphins are very large animals, which you will realize just as you're about to jump in the water with them. I swam with them in a lagoon in Key Largo, so the water was a little murky. I knew I was on their turf when they were swimming in circles around me. I can't be sure (since they always look like they're smiling) but I think they had a good laugh because the water was so salty that every time I dove down I'd pop back up to the surface. It was an experience I won't ever forget. I also swam with the rays in the Caymans. Not as exciting but if you enjoy being swarmed by a multitude of wild animals you would like it.

Bottlenose dolphins typically weigh 440 to 600 pounds and reach an average size of 10 feet (some reach as much as 14 feet). So they're not exactly "small".

As far as non allergenic dogs, I realize a poodle isn't exactly a "guy" dog, but they don't shed, and as far as I know are about the least allergenic dogs out there. (from what I've heard). :)
Deadbeat dads I have NO USE FOR either, so kudos to you for stepping up to the plate. I wish more men would. Any jerk can be a father. It takes a REAL MAN to be a "Daddy". :) So that being said, ;) Glad to "meet" you!!

Hi All!
I'm new to this site (just signed up 13 minutes ago!). I am very happy to be here. My name is Rene, and I grew up in Detroit, just a stone's throw away from Dave; in fact, I attended the all-girls high school located right next door to the all-boys high school he attended (The Original Regina and Notre Dame RULE!!!!). I've been a fan for eons, having seen his routines in the 80's, locally.
I now live in SW Florida where my hubby and I are teachers. We have a 4 year old autistic son. I still catch reruns of FH now and then (whenever I'm home for more than a minute!) and miss the days of really clean entertainment on television.
Glad to be here, but posting is rare for me; I work and attend school, so time to peruse discussion threads is a treat for me.
Take care!

Yes, I read that in your post. Deland is the opposite end of Florida from where I am, unfortunately. I'm near Cape Coral and Ft. Myers. I was in Deland back in 2000 when I was traveling Florida and looking for a place to live and work.
Everyone here at this site is so friendly, and I'm certainly glad for that! I have belonged to several other boards and have found that people will act out and be rude, taking full advantage of the anonymity of the internet. They turn into trolls, saying things to others that they would NEVER say to their faces, just because they believe it's OK to be like that as long as no one knows you.
Thank you for the warm welcome, ladies.

Me, I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. My young daughter is using the Seton curriculum. My teenager... oye... she is harder. They turn into trolls, saying things to others that they would NEVER say to their faces, just because they believe it's OK to be like that as long as no one knows you.
Thank you for the warm welcome, ladies.
Take care!!
I really know what you mean! There are people that come to the internet just to annoy others, cause they know there wonīt be any consequences for them. I hate those people.

Welcome!! I'm Susan, and I'm in the North East corner of Florida, in Jacksonville. I'm glad to meet you!!
What grades do you teach?
Me, I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. My young daughter is using the Seton curriculum. My teenager... oy... she is harder. The math she is doing I have no clue how to do... so her math work is checked by a few others who are much more educated than I. She is going to take a few classes at our local junior college in the fall. History though, and other subjects, I am much better at! LOL
Whoops.... didn't meant to go off on all that. LOL! :o But welcome, and I hope you enjoy it here. :)
Hello, Susan:
I'm a middle school Language Arts instructor who is currently working on her graduate degree in Literature. I have taught 6-12th grade English; my husband, however, is a Mathematics professor at a local state college and the lead Math teacher at our charter school. He has 2 degrees in Math (I tell him that I married him so he could balance my checkbook!! LOL).
We are looking into possibly homeschooling our son. He is severely developmentally delayed and autistic. His pre-K teacher is worried about his transition to kindergarten in August. I am of the opinion that we should let him go to kindergarten in the special ed classroom, and if he develops problems, we can always pull him out.
My hubby is a native Floridian, born in Tampa. Doesn't look like I'm moving back to the Detroit area any time soon!!
It's nice to meet so many Floridians and, as I indicated earlier, genuinely kind people here. Dave is such a nice guy...it's no wonder his fans are of the same ilk.
Well, I've got to work on my lesson plans for the next few weeks. Thrilling. Now that the FCAT (state standardized tests) are over, I've got some interesting things to teach my kids. I'm going over advanced punctuation skills now. April is National Poetry Month, so I'm going to teach my students how to write an English sonnet (Shakespearean, if you will), as well as a Skinny Ode (Pablo Neruda), and a poem with limited word choices (forces them to think about each word placement and meaning). We will then have a Poetry Slam in my classes. May is narrative writing, with my infamous "Sandwich Building Project", with school ending on June 10th.
Take care!

Welcome Rene. I also lived in Florida for a couple of years (near Palm Bay/Melbourne area). I loved living there, now currently in Kansas.
Thank you for the kind welcome!
I was in Melbourne for about a week back in 2000. Nice place to visit!
I've never been to Kansas. I understand that it's a lot of wide open space and really quite lovely in the country.

Take care!
What a great addition to this board!! So nice to meet you, Rene...The first post in this thread will tell you about me...I find your story very interesting and impressive! Post when you can!

I am of the opinion that we should let him go to kindergarten in the special ed classroom, and if he develops problems, we can always pull him out.
That is precisely why I homeschool. My little girl has global developmental delays, and is visually impaired. She did 2 years of VE Pre K and 1 year of VE Kindergarten. In the infinite wisdom of the school, (insert sarcasm here), they decided to mainstream her. My girl was getting left in the dust, and fast. They told me straight up that she had no business in a mainstream classroom. I felt I had no choice, and pulled her out. She is smart, and with lots of one-on-one, she is learning at her own pace. She's made lots of progress, and I know that homeschooling is the best thing I could have done for her. My big girl is ADHD, and sadly her grades went south when she hit middle school. Long story short, I am hoping she'll get her GED and go from there.
My hubby is a native Floridian, born in Tampa. Doesn't look like I'm moving back to the Detroit area any time soon!!

Florida is a nice place to visit! We've got great stuff, not just expensive House of Mouse attractions, either! If my parents could drive down from Michigan with 7 teenagers, a toddler, and my Grandma, anyone can do it!!! ROTFLMAO
Unfortunately, the old adage, "Misery loves company," really fits these folks. I've let people go from my life because everything to them is a tragedy, they are always needy, always sad, always complaining, and nothing anyone can do for them will ever help. They want people to say, "Oh, you poor baby! I'll sit and wallow in sadness with you." That's not me. I'll help you with your problems, but once I've helped you, it's up to YOU to get back on your feet and keep going. I can't drag you along...
Trolls like seeing people get as mean and mad as they are with the world. There are people who genuinely enjoy seeing people upset! Can't figure them out for the life of me. I'm happy from the time I open my eyes until I fall asleep at night. Why? I've seen tragedy and sadness first hand (who hasn't once they've become adults!) and I can let it take me down, or I can keep going. I have chosen to keep going and be positive.
Take care!

Susan, your daughters are the reason we teach at a charter school, not a local public school. The classes are smaller and I can reach more kids and give them more help. I have all levels of learners in my classes, and I have taken classes in order to teach to them, accommodating to their way of learning.
Our son has learned so much at his school in the last 3 years (he's been at his school since he turned 2) and has come a long way. He will always need help, and the school district does not ever foresee him transitioning into a mainstream classroom. Was it difficult for your youngest daughter to potty train? That's the latest lesson we are learning around here right now.
I have always had a love of reading and literature. It was natural that I would become a teacher--there aren't too many jobs out there for someone with an English degree that are not related to teaching.
Take care!

That's the latest lesson we are learning around here right now.I worry about Robyn always needing some kind of help. She is so behind her peers, and at nearly nine years old, she still cannot tie her shoes. Fine motor skills is not her forte'. :( Poor kid! Oh, potty training? Oye! She was 4 years old!! Special kids potty train late. And trust me when I tell you... bigger kids make a lot more pee. Be prepared to keep changes of clothes handy, including shoes and socks!! (can we say, "river undamned"?) LOL Your son will get there though. Don't ever lose faith. With all the love and support he gets, he'll be better than you think!! :) (((((hugs)))))

I spend my life spelling things for everyone else, and reading my little heart out. I write a pretty fine letter too. ;) LOL Oh... I had something published once, believe it or not. It's just a collection of reconcilliation stories, and mine is one of them. Here's the link for anyone who is curious... or bored. LOL

You are both inspiring teachers, Lemonpoptart and Motowngirl! I agree, Lemonpoptart, "love and support" goes a long way in the teaching profession, whether teaching your own kids or someone else's. I'm in the public school system. Only two years teaching and learning all the time how to get around the newest ridiculous requirements so I could support "my" kids (all 26 of them) the best ways I can figure out how to. Several of my third graders this year need support considering that they have had to deal with their parent's divorces, serious family illnesses, one even has dealt with alleged abuse by a parent. They break my heart every day. My class is mixed special needs students and general ed students. There are two teachers in the classroom, me (special ed teacher) and my co-teacher (general ed teacher.)

hey lpt, i too have had days that all i wanted to do was cry.. infact, i've had days where that is all i ended up doing. but looking back, those days were a perfectly good waste. i was wasting my energy being angry and cynical when i should have gone outside and tossed a ball around with my daughter and her father.
we all go through things sometimes, and on different levels. that does not go to say however that certain things are more important or more detrimental than others. our problems vary and truly are not the issue, how we deal with them is however the more important factor.
there's always a sunny day, it just might take a few days for the sun to shine on us again.. but it will. and until then, ya'll have ME to do it for you!

I keed I keed. Seriously though, I'm just a dude who plays in a rock band and puts together charity events for Multiple Sclerosis and Autism in his spare time. (Maybe one day Mr. Coulier would be kind enough to get involved ;) )
I love all forms of art, whether it be Music, Movies, TV, Paintings, Photography etc... Anything that evokes emotion and makes one think, feel, or forget their problems for a few minutes a day...
I also want to win one of these "no action" action figures lol
Cheers everyone. Looking forward to sharing some laughs & love with you all.
Sincerely,
Jeff
Hey Jeff,
Welcome to the website. Congratulations for being a good hearted person :)

Hi Guys,
I'm Tabea and I'm living in Germany. I love FH and the whole cast. I'm also on the official board of John Stamos and used to be on the board of Candace C Bure.
I love to play the piano and in general to make music (in my band for example)
I'm pretty honest, faithful, friendly and I love to laugh! I enjoy the little things in life the most such as sunsets, a nice dinner etc. and I take nothing for granted.
and now I'm looking forward to getting to know YOU!

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, and like most of you on here I grew up watching Full House. I am 22 and recently graduated from college. There are no shows on television today that even come close to how good Full House was. The show exemplified good family values and one day when I have children of my own, I will let them watch it as well. I am also a huge fan of Dave's comedy so I'm glad to be a part of this site and I look forward to interacting with other FH and Dave fans.

Hey all, my name is Megan. I am from Australia & I grew up being a huge full house fan, so through that I began to love Dave's work. I remember loving the impressions he did, it was the highlight of the show in my opinion. Other then that I enjoy his standup from what I've seen in videos. :-) Still a full house fan, I just re-watched the whole series, still so many laughs. :-).
