I come here, and to a couple other places I like to hang out at, check my online banking, pay bills, check email... and I like Facebook, MySpace, and IMDb. I also have a couple games I enjoy sometimes.

I joined twitter to know what´s it all about and there´s not much to do there... the posts are very limited so you can´t even say much...
I gotta say, sometimes I want to comment something, like a line from a tv show, or recommend a website, and twitter does the trick when there´s no one around...
Plus, it´s cool to know about some idols. I´m following some comedians there, and they often post jokes and where they´re heading for the next show. It´s cool...

but you have to be careful-- a ton of them are IMPOSTERS.

if it's the real celeb, it will say "confirmed" or something similar to that on their page.

maybe it says "verified". i'm not totally sure. but i'm sure you get what i'm saying.

You might as well call me Wilma Flintstone because all I've got is a trac phone which I use maybe 10 minutes a month. I've never even texted before. Technology is always way ahead of me. Just got an MP3 player last year(which I love by the way) It dosen't seem that long ago that CD's first came out! Facebook is pretty amazing with how you can connect with people from your childhood through other friends and groups.

Yeah, its pretty fascinating what you can do these days! I love to talk with my Mom about stuff--she will be 90 in January and remembers those phones you wound and asked Sally the operator to connect you to "628 J" or something like that! LOL

As for Twitter...I signed up and see little comments going back & forth between the FH cast...Thats about as advanced as I care to go, at this point...:D

I understand that completely!! Some celebs are so stuck on themselves and so egotistical that they don't bother with us mere commoners. Nice to know that Ms. Barber isn't like that. Pity it's not common though. I am really happy for you Lisa!! :D

I have met a few celebs. Only a remote few have been nice, genuine, down to earth people. The rest of the ones I've "met" have really disappointed me.

Funny, you admire this person's work, and then you meet them, and they are so shallow and so, "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME", that you wonder how you could ever have liked them in the first place. It's really disheartening. I don't expect them to be perfect, but I do expect them to not be jerks. Your fans can make you or break you. And some celebs lose sight of that.
