Just like the old song by Stephen Stills, :)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5IVuN1N6-Y

So, who do you love?? Here's a place to celebrate everyone that is special to you...

I'll go first.

My children. I never knew what true love was, until I looked into their newborn faces. They set my heart in motion, and I could not ever imagine my life without them.

My parents, brother and sister. I am the youngest in the family at age 31. I just wish my family was closer as far as living in the same state. We are all over the country and live in different states, so we are lucky if we get to all be in the same place and state once a year.

Awww! Bless your hearts!! :(

My two little sisters. My sisters are my friends and my allies when things get rough. They are my conspirators, and my drinking buddies... especially right before the rest of the family arrives during the holidays. LOL!! :D

I am glad you are close to your sisters Lemonpoptart. That is always a good thing. I haven't seen my sister since last August. If it is one thing I wish in life, I wish I was closer to family. Never thought I would be out here alone here in Kansas. My job brought me here to Kansas and that was why I had to move here.

I love my daughter. She is my pride and joy. She has helped make me a stronger person. I have two sisters and brother who I love very much. My mom is another one I love. I thank God for my family everyday. They have helped me through a lot in my life.

I have another "child" whom I love very very deeply. She is my yellow lab, Daisy Mae. We rescued her from the pound when my oldest daughter was 4 years old. We had just bought a home, and we wanted her to have a dog. The fenced back yard is wasted. LOL Daisy is an indoor BIG lap dog. LOL No one ever told her she was huge. She has no clue. She thinks she is tiny. :D

Now my daughter is almost 16. Our Daisy Mae is almost 12. She is an old girl, sweet and gentle. The most loving dog you'll ever meet. She isn't my "dog". She is one of my children who just happens to be wearing yellow fur. Santa brings her gifts under the tree every year... and she plays in the pool with my girls. When we go out of town, we rent a cabin that allows pets, so we can take Daisy too. We can't bear the thought of ever putting her in a kennel.

I hope everyone has a dog like her at least once in their lives. :)

Of course, I love my hubby and son, and if it wasn't for them, I don't know what I would do. I am close with my sister and her two daughters; they live in Michigan. I still love my best friend who was murdered on October 3, 2007--we were closer than sisters for 27 years.

I had a dog, Maggie May, who was my best friend from October, 1991-April, 2005. She passed on with me by her side. She was like Daisy--a child with a lot of fur!! She was a black Lab/Basset Hound mix that my friends all called "The walking ottoman!" I adopted her from a shelter because she needed a home after being badly abused--she was missing an eye and had a limp because her front paws ended up permanently disfigured. She was the only decent thing I got out of my divorce from my ex-husband, besides my freedom. I still cry over losing her. We have adopted a new dog, Maggie May 2, who is a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix. Mags is such a good dog...she makes sure no one gets into the house and steals the couch! LOL

My oldest sister is twelve year older than me, my brother is eleven years older than me and my other sister is nine years older than me. I love my siblings though. I also love all my nieces and nephews (there are seven all together including a great niece).

I also love my niece and nephew as well (who are in L.A. with my brother). I haven't met my niece yet since she was born in January of this year. I can't wait to go to L.A. in July (haven't seen my nephew in a long time).

I love my mom and my dad! My dad passed away on 1/26/04, but I feel like he's with me... I dream about him almost every night... On 1/27/04, I dreamed about him saying thanks to us (my mom and me) for everything that we did for him. I'll never forget this dream...

Erica, I know some people who have had this kind of experience. After their loved ones passed away, they said they had dreams about these people, that they only appeared to give a message such as "Thank you for everything", "Don't worry I'm ok" "I'll always be with you", etc. I think it's very interesting.

I was able to talk to my parents today. We are already making plans for me to see them over Thanksgiving in St. Louis. I can't wait to see family again, only get to see them over Easter and Thanksgiving since I have four day weekends over those holidays.

I love my friend Steph, who died November 18, 2005. I miss her horribly. She had gastic bypass surgery, and died because she lost so much weight that she was starving to death, and her organs shut down. My beautiful friend died because she wanted to be thin. She was only in her 30s. I had the privilege of knowing her for 13 years, and I loved her like a sister.

Someone here mentioned a deceased loved one coming to them in a dream. Steph did that for me a few months ago. I have no doubt in my mind it was really her, and not "just a dream". It gave me a lot of peace... I needed that. :)

Thank you.. and I think so too Lisa. :) It was just what I needed. :) I still miss her, but it's not as painful now. If that makes any sense. I know she is at peace. :) And I'm going to see her again one day. :)
