I love getting Tattoos. Started off when I was 18. I got about 13 of them so far. My lastest work is from my lil girl. She loves to draw. So, I decided to use her work for my next piece. Here are a few pics of my left arm. ( it's now my lil 1's arm now )

Sore subject for me Corn....I have one tattoo near my left ankle, I keep a bandaid on it to cover it up!! LOL
Thats because I broke one of the 'tattoo rules' and got somebodys NAME put on permanantly!! UGH!! What a fool I was!

I must say, 3 of my 4 kids have multiple tattoos...I can appreciate the art, even tho Im not a tat fan..
And, having your daughters work on your arm is really cute! A novel idea! Permanent, but cute!! :D

Yep, that is one rule I'll never brake. I have friends that did it. When I was married along time ago my ex tried to get me to do it. Thank god I didn't. The other rule I have is if I want get anyone elses name on me they have to be dead. I have my grandfather name and dates on me. My mom is always beggin me to get "MOM" done. I keep tellin her she has to wait. HAHA!

My youngest sister has a Celtic cross on her lower back, and a treble cleft note on the inside of her wrist.

Before Dad married Mom, Dad was engaged to a neighborhood girl, and had her name tattooed on his bicep. He ended up getting another tattoo over it to cover it up.

I hope there are. I know alot of people say there bad and even had a older lady at my church telling me to cover up or leave. She went on and told me how god never wanted people to "destroy" our bodies this way and so on. So I told her I respect her opinion but, until a priest, our minister, the pope or god himself tells me a good reason to get out of our church. I won't be leaving. So for the past 3 years every sunday I wave and tell her good morning.

The weird thing about me getting tattoos is that I am deathly affraid of needle. I know little tiny needle are stabbing and ripping my skin. I loath giving blood and getting shots. Everyone I know laughs about it. to me there is a BIG difference. Tattoo needles get dragged across the skin and only go so deep. The other needles get poked through deeper into veins. Now that's what I'm affraid of.

I like the original drawings from your daughter. That is definitely unique. My daughter just recently got a beautiful tribal angel tatoo on her shoulder blade with her father's initials just under the wing. When she turned 18, she was so sure that she wanted to honor her dad with a tatoo, that I just couldn't say no - not that she needed my permission since she is 18. I had this feeling she would have gotten it in September when she goes away to college. At least by going with her to a recommended place I was able to make sure everything was clean and safe.

I have three tattoos. One on my ankle, which is a rose, a tribal band with a heart on my lower back and a multi-colored butterfly on my bikini line.

I love tattoos, definitely getting another one soon!

There´s a button here on the text editor, it´s yellow with a little mountain and sun that says "insert image". You´ll need to have this pic on a website, like photobucket for example. then you click the buton and it´ll ask for a URL, so you just copy the URL from your pic and paste it there.

My son's in the Army, he has 5 they are not really big, I like them, he has one with a NAME and they are no longer together ... :cool:
I hate needles and eveybody says it doesn't hurt ... hhhhhmmmmm needles pushing ink into my body fast! can't bring myself to do it ... YET! LOL

LadyK2, well, I wouldn´t say it doesn´t hurt...it does. But depending on the person and the area where you´re getting it done, it doesn´t hurt that much. My tattoo is kindda big, and I remember half of it didn´t hurt at all, seriously. But then there´s this other half, that practically killed me... lol

Thanks :D. The one that hurt the most was probably the one on my lower back. Since it was my first one, the pain was really bad. I didn't cry but was pretty close to it haha. Then, getting the other two I got pretty use to the pain. The ankle didn't hurt too bad, but the butterfly did when he hit a very sensitive part on me.

I can't wait to get another one, they are so addicting!!! :)

I just got another tattoo on my upper left arm. It's another pic my lil girl made. I might go back today to get a couple more hearts put on and then I'm done with that arm. Just tryin to figure out what I want to do with my left arm to finish it up. It feels naked without anything there. I'll try and post some pics 2day.
